Please make sure that you check your goods carefully before signing for them. We cannot replace damaged goods if the Courier is not advised of the damage when you receive them.
How to Shop at BeanBagsUK.co.uk
We continually strive to make your buying experience with us as simple and straightforward as possible. To select a product, choose either the Home or Browse from the navigation buttons and:
- Click on the product you want from the left hand menu table
- Choose the fabric and colour you require
- Click on the "Add to basket" button (the default is for 1-off, however you can increase it if you want.
- Repeat this process if you want to order additional items
- When your shopping basket contains all the products you want click on "Checkout"
- Follow the instructions on the screen to enter your credit/debit card details and the address your card is registered at. Please note that our standard policy is to deliver to the address your card is registered at. If you require delivery to another address, then please see Alternative Delivery Address below.
If you require delivery to an alternative address to the one that your credit/debit card is registered to, then please order your product in the normal way, but also contact us requesting an alternative delivery address. We will then send you in the post, to your card address, a security reference code that we ask you to email back to us.
This procedure protects you and ourselves to ensure that products are only shipped to, and payments taken from, authorised card holders.
BeanBagsUK.co.uk uses the world leading WorldPay card collection and validation services to give you complete peace of mind when purchasing goods from us. Your card details are handled securely by WorldPay with all details transmitted with a high degree of encryption to protect you.
All prices shown on the site are in £Sterling and include VAT.
If you are sending your purchase as a gift, then email us with the details (including your WorldPay Transaction ID Number) and we will write your short message on a complimentary Gift Tag.
We will forward a VAT invoice by email.
Standard delivery is charged at £10 per order to mainland England, Wales and Scotland, even if we have to despatch items separately.
Please email us for a quotation for deliveries to all other UK destinations.
Standard delivery is on a next day carrier or 2 working days Parcelforce with the delivery made during normal working hours Monday to Friday. If you need the delivery to be on a specific day, we can arrange for a special overnight delivery (we can also arrange for before 12.00 noon and before 9.30am). Please note that these special deliveries will incur a delivery surcharge - please email us for a quotation.
We aim to deliver all orders within 14 days, however please allow up to 28 days as a worst case. Please advise us if your order is urgent and we will do everything we can to meet your requirement.
At BeanBagsUK.co.uk we operate exclusively on the web to minimise our costs, passing on the savings to you, our customers.
The product dimensions on the site are approximate sizes, allowing you to check that you have the room available for them before ordering.
Whilst every effort has been made to accurately describe all of our products, we welcome input from our customers if you find inaccuracies or omissions.
If you need to return goods to us for any reason, please contact us in the first instance. We will arrange for collection from your home/premises (please do not make alternative arrangements). Please ensure that you package the goods in the original packaging or suitable alternative packaging to avoid damage in transit back to our warehouse.
If you simply want to return the product then we are unable to refund your original delivery charge of £10, and will have to make a collection charge, at cost, of £30. This will be deducted from the credit refunded to you.
You may return any product purchased from us within 7 days of receipt of the goods, for a full refund, provided it is still in saleable condition and returned in the original or a suitable alternative packaging.
If you are ordering an alternative product we cannot refund your original £10 delivery charge, however we will agree a compromise on the collection charge.
You will not be charged any transportation costs for shipping of products that the manufacturer agree are faulty.
All on-line refunds will be completed within 28 days of agreement and made according to your payment method (e.g. if you pay by Visa, then the refund will be a credit back to your Visa account).
Please contact by email to cancel an order. We will accept cancellation of any order, without charge to you, prior to dispatch. If the goods have not been dispatched, we will refund, via your payment card, in full, including the delivery charge.
All materials used in Bean products supplied by BeanBagUK.com conform to the following:
Flammability in comparison with the requirements of The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. S.I. No. 1324, Schedule 4 Part 1 and Schedule 5 Part1. Test Method: BS.5852:Part 1:1979
Both the Cotton Drill and the Faux Suede materials are washable (we recommend that they are hand washed or machine washed at 40 degrees). Please note that we recommend you DO NOT mix different coloured beanbag products together for washing as the colours may run.
All our beanbag products are double zipped making it extremely difficult for children to open them and gain access to the beads. For washing, you would need to open the zips, empty out the beads, (do this inside a pillowcase for smaller items, or duvet for the larger ones to contain the polystyrene beads) wash the beanbag, and then refill and re-zip.
Useful Tip: Do not use plastic bags to hold the beans while you are washing the fabric. Static build-up will make re-filling the bags a nightmare.
